2024
- Stories from our Homes" with Somali feast, June - traditional stories collected from local refugees and asylum seekers retold by Fiona Eadie and Jude Emmet.
- Storywalk for the Gloucester Storytelling Café; July - the chance to see a little of this wonderful city with several pauses along the way to hear instalments of a story that weaves together strands of Gloucester’s fascinating history.
- Storywalk: The Weavers' Tale, October, Nailsworth - a storywalk down the beautiful Horsley valley near Nailsworth ... two enjoyable things at once – a relaxing led walk and a story that connects with the Cotswold weavers of the 19th century.
2023
- Fate, Faith and Fortune performed at Ruskin Mill, Nailsworth, 24 March, at Llangollen Fringe Festival, 11 July and at Sidmouth Folk Festival.
2022
- Wood-Fired Baking and Storytelling Day, Shipton Mill, Tetbury – 17th December. Stories of transformation.
- The Cult of Water: Story, Ritual and Myth, 22nd Sept, Hawkwood GL6 7QW - I told a story of the River Severn as part of David Bramwell's candle-lit and dream-like journey in search of the secrets of our waterways, unearthing the stories, histories, rituals and myths that surround our rivers.
2021:
- The Call of the Sea - a workshop in storytelling and image-making. A very successful day run together with community artist Liz Lancashire at 3 Storeys arts centre in Nailsworth. To be repeated in 2022.
- Sunday 13th June: Canal Storywalks Told stories on the Stroudwater canal from my book Tales from the towpath. Organised through Creative Sustainability. Each walk lasted approximately 30 minutes and listeners enjoyed a story in instalments as we walked along.
- 31st January: An afternoon of stories to celebrate Imbolc (on Zoom) - with Kelvin Hall, Kirsty Hartsiotis, Austin Keenan and Ariane Olner.
2020:
- 20th Dec: A winter's afternoon of seasonal storytelling (on Zoom) - with Kelvin Hall, Kirsty Hartsiotis, Austin Keenan and Ariane Olner.
2019:
- 4th Oct: SOUNDINGS - reverberations from the edge of wild. the first performance of a new piece exploring our relationship with nature and rewilding the land through stories and music. Fiona Eadie and Jude Smith: stories and spoken word; Nicola Hillary and Sue O'Driscoll, fiddle and song plus the recorded voices of other beings. Ruskin Mill, Nailsworth.
- 15th Sept: STROUD WOOL AND WATER FESTIVAL - two storywalks along the Thames & Severn Canal, telling stories of the canal along the way.
- 8th Sept: GLOUCESTER HISTORY FESTIVAL - story stroll from the National Waterways Museum (GL1 2EH) along the canal towpath and back.
- 4th/5th May: Family Canal Trail - stories of the Cotswold canals
2018:
- Sun 22 Nov: storywalk along the canal from the Tunnelhouse Inn, Coates.
- Sun 17 June: Nailsworth Walking Festival, canalside storywalks, Sun 17 June: Starting from the Daneway, Sapperton, I told two of the stories from my forthcoming book Tales from the Towpath.
- Sat 20 May: Shirehampton storywalk, organised by Forgotten Landscapes and part of the Severnside Walking Festival, a delightful amble along the Avon followed by a walk back through Shirehampton with story stops along the way.
- Monday 28 May Avonmouth storywalk, organised by Forgotten Landscapes wild tales of Jack's adventures on the high seas on a 2km family walk around Avonmouth.
- 30 May to 2 June - National Trust storywalks, Lodge Park: part of the National Trust's Springwatch event, Nature-based stories and story walks on the estate.
- Sundays 29th October and 5th November: Wise Women and Witches: Haunting Tales – at Stroud Museum in the Park
- August 13th and 27th: Stories In the walled garden of Stroud Museum in the Park ... because, for thousands of years, many of our most spectacular stories and tantalising tales have been set in the garden ... the rooted place where the journey begins and ends, where the seeds of adventure are sown.
- June 21: - Stories at the Solstice - an evening of stories, dance and fire for the summer solstice. A seasonal celebration Thistledown Farm on the longest day of the year.
- March 11th: Val Dean and I performed 'Held in Place' - a programme of stories and songs rooted in particular parts of Britain - at Elmslie House, Great Malvern WR14 3AG. Organised by Malvern Storytellers.
- March 20th - an evening of seasonal stories for the March equinox at Thistledown Farm, GL10 3UH
